Cynthia Lindsey holds a Masters Degree in Education and a Bachelors Degree in Historical Political Studies. She is a Certified personal fitness trainer through American Council on Exercise (ACE). She teaches Pound, Yoglates, HIIT, and offers personal training.
Health, wellness, and exercise is not only an interest of Cynthia’s, it is a necessary lifestyle for her. Cynthia was diagnosed with severe Crohns Disease. Consistent exercise, education, and nutrition changes have increased her strength and endurance and ability to maintain a lifestyle that has helped her reduce the symptoms related to Crohns Disease.
In 2014, Cynthia became a certified Fitness Instructor. She began reaching out to clients who she could train and help deal with not only the physical issues of their life, but emotional ones as well. After training out of her home gym (after a full day of teaching EBD at school), she decided to purchase a gym, Edgewater Fitness club.
Cynthia has grown her business through this opportunity, but remains grounded by her love of teaching people how to become healthy. Cynthia is now Strong by Zumba licensed.
In the beginning of 2018, Cynthia began suffering more from her Chron’s disease. In March, she was hospitalized and on April 2nd had to have a complete colectomy due to the severity of her disease. Since then she has regained her health and battled to return to her active lifestyle making NO EXCUSES!
Tom Marsico graduated with a BA in commercial recreation/ physical fitness from westmar college, Lemars Iowa 1982.
Tom’s experience includes team training swat, shot gun squad ,riot squad, the fitness director at Tomoka state prison for all staff to include 365 employees.
He teaches and has taught Senior aerobics and is a Freestyler and Boot Camp instructor with 35 years of personnel training in strength and rehab.
Kim began dancing at 2 1/2 years of age. She started teaching at 16 and continued untilshe was 30. In that time, she’s traveled with Lannies School of Dance doing competitions.
She became interested in the gym lifestyle about 5 years ago. As a result she found an interest in Zumba, spin class, strength training, yoga, and boot camp.
She has a passion for fitness and people.
